About Kongshan
When the Teacher first arrived at Kongshan Temple, they stayed for a remarkably long time.
Not only the Teacher but also the accompanying monastics could deeply sense the unique atmosphere of this sacred ground. It was extraordinarily silent and profoundly settling, as if one had arrived in a celestial realm.
The Teacher expressed their hope that, in the future, this place would serve as a retreat center for disciples to engage in intensive study and cultivation.
"Many great Dharma achievers will emerge from this location!"
"Melt your very life into the moonlight, or into the mountains, and then contemplate:
'Do I have a self-nature(Svabhāva)?'
Kongshan absolutely empower you in your practice!"

About Kongshan
The Teacher first step onto this land immediately brought forth a profound feeling, as if echoing the verse:
"Empty mountains after fresh rain, The weather brings autumn's dusk. Bright moon shining between the pine trees, Clear spring water flowing over the stones."
This verse naturally flowed from the master's lips (or came to the master's mind) as a reflection of the atmosphere felt here.
